The Cross County Ramblers (RRCA and USATF) Running and Walking Club, invite you to join us for a celebration of long-distance racing.  We take pride in our rural Arkansas home, and are pleased to host the best-organized, racer-friendly marathon anywhere.

The people of Cross County offer runners and walkers a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of Corporate America.  Rediscover what you love about running, and enjoy a slice of rural America country living at the same time.

Friday, we have a variety of unique non-racing events throughout Cross County.  Local civic and hobby clubs are offering to share with you some of their passionate interests.  We have a wonderful state park, Village Creek State Park. Click here for more information, and please visit The Cross County Museum for a quick history lesson. The museum is on the corner of East Union and Mississippi St., 1 block east of Falls Blvd. Click the link on our web site for more info.

The Italian Dinner is hosted by the Cross County Historical Society and will offer lots of home made pasta, veggie and meat sauces, salad, garlic bread, and desserts. You will pick up your race packet, ask questions, eat, and enjoy the company of your fellow racers.

Saturday morning, you’ll show up at Wynne High School, take care of business (we have a very high port-o-potty to racer ratio!), and get ready for the starting gun.

There will be a variety of things for your family and support crew to do after you take off on your race.  The First United Methodist Church Youth Group will be having a pancake breakfast next door. Just follow the foot traffic. Best breakfast in town for only $6.00. Come early and eat often!!! You will be supporting a great group of youth.

For those who enjoy "junkin" we have two great flea markets in town.

Located downtown on Merriman Avenue you will find the Wynne Flea Market,  80 plus booths offering lots of treasures.

Yesterdays Treasures is located on the corner of South Falls Blvd. and East Hamilton Avenue. Lots of goodies to be found as you browse through the rooms of this quaint old house located on the Historical Hamilton Avenue.
